Bespoken Bride: Meet Analise

Analise contacted me just over a year ago to plan her wedding in Greenville, SC. Living near Tampa, Florida, she and Frankie were looking to get away to the mountains for their wedding and knew they needed to invest in a wedding planner to help from a distance. I have thoroughly enjoyed the past year getting to know Analise and getting ready for their big day that is so close now! She's a true gem, and their wedding is going to be absolutely beautiful.

How did you two meet? How long have you known each other?  Frankie and I have known each other for a little over two years. We met on the dating app, Tinder, in October 2015, and we've been inseparable since.

Where do you guys like to go on your dates? We are both lovers of quiet nights at home. Most of our dates consist of making dinner or getting dinner and enjoying TV or a movie together. We do also enjoy going out with our family and friends.

What is your favorite restaurant or type of food?  Our favorite restaurant is this hole-in-the-wall in Floral City, Florida. It's over an hour from the house, but we love their cheeseburgers! Great flavor and a great time!

We go together like ______. Chocolate and peanut butter, lol!

When did you know he was "the one"? Did he know before you knew?  I think we both felt it pretty much immediately, and it scared both of us being totally honest. He had just been broken up with by his fiance at the time, and I wasn't really expecting to find anyone after many not-so-great guys. I was the first to dive in, though, blurting out, "I love you" awkwardly more than once and trying to cover it up. It took a little longer for him, but when he did say he loved me, it was perfect.

How did he propose? Were you surprised? He actually proposed on a trip I planned. The travel bug bit me hard in 2016. I traveled to 18 states and 2 other countries within a year. One of those trips was in October to New Mexico for the Albuquerque International Hot Air Balloon Festival. It's just what it sounds like - tons of beautiful hot air balloons all together creating amazing sights. We went with my cousin and his wife who has become one of my closest friends (they were the photographers of the moment). I had known for a few months he wanted to marry me. We had talked about it, but I was convinced he wouldn't propose until after I finished grad school. When he suddenly got down on one knee as the balloons lit up around us for the night show, I was completely shocked.

When and where are you two getting married? What made you decide to get married there? We are getting married on April 15, 2018 at Pretty Place Chapel. Florida is home for us, but we have both always loved the mountains. Years prior, friends of his had considered the chapel for their wedding. When we got engaged and didn't love anything here, we decided to visit the beautiful venue. Just as the pictures we'd seen, it was breathtaking. Given our love of the mountains and of travel, it seemed fitting we travel for the wedding to the mountains.

What colors are you using for your wedding?  Blush, white, ivory, gold, rose gold, silver

Describe your wedding in 3 words. Elegant, classic, love-filled

How would you describe the style of your wedding?  I love a classic and elegant wedding! Sting quartet for the ceremony. Stunning floral pieces, glamorous ball gown. But I also love to party. Optimizing dancing time and ensuring a crazy reception is a top priority.

What are your top 3 must-haves for your wedding? Great DJ, flowers, and unique venues

What is your favorite wedding blog or magazine? Southern Weddings

What have you loved most about planning your wedding? Probably my favorite part is getting into the design phase with Shannon. You really start to see this big, magical day come to life.

Are you guys going on a honeymoon? Where? Why did you choose this location? What are you going to do?  We will probably spend a few days in Greenville after the wedding and go on a bigger trip later in the year. This year, in addition to a wedding, we bought a house! For us, that was higher on the priority list. We love our new home, and we look forward to planning our first vacation as husband and wife.

What are you most excited about in your marriage?  Him. He is just more than I ever could've dreamed up or prayed for. I'm excited to do life with him by my side wherever that takes us. From the little things like a night in to the big things like starting a family, from hard times to good time, I know it will be great because I have him.
