As we are rounding out the first month of the year, I wanted to pop in with some trends we might be seeing in the wedding world in 2017, specifically with wedding fashion. Wedding dresses, veils, shoes, accessories, flowers, etc.
One of the things we'll likely see more of this year is lace. Lace in the wedding dress, veil, and even in some of the decor (i.e., a lace table runner).
Another trend we may see are oversized and big florals. With greenery. And maybe some succulents.
We're still seeing gold accents in weddings...from flatware to gold leaf on cakes...but we may start seeing more rose gold and copper this year.
I love that we'll still continue to see the Bohemian Chic style. A little boho, a little sophistication.
What's your favorite wedding fashion trend for 2017?
Who doesn't love a good flower crown? They've been popping up more and more in real weddings, and I couldn't be more excited. Flower crowns scream "romance". A little "boho". A little laid-back. A little unexpected. They can make any woman feel like a goddess. They can fit almost any wedding hair style, and be worn as a full-crown or as a half-crown. So I've rounded up a selection of five gorgeous flower crowns to inspire you for your own wedding.
Another big trend lately is the flower crown bar party. Check out this one from Glitter Guide (and hey, if you decide to throw your own flower crown bar party...send a girl an invite!).
