Buying your wedding dress will be a fun outing for you and whomever you decide to bring along. But if you've ever wondered why you should buy your dress so far in advance of the wedding, today I'm breaking it down for you.Read More
As we are rounding out the first month of the year, I wanted to pop in with some trends we might be seeing in the wedding world in 2017, specifically with wedding fashion. Wedding dresses, veils, shoes, accessories, flowers, etc.
One of the things we'll likely see more of this year is lace. Lace in the wedding dress, veil, and even in some of the decor (i.e., a lace table runner).
Another trend we may see are oversized and big florals. With greenery. And maybe some succulents.
We're still seeing gold accents in weddings...from flatware to gold leaf on cakes...but we may start seeing more rose gold and copper this year.
I love that we'll still continue to see the Bohemian Chic style. A little boho, a little sophistication.
What's your favorite wedding fashion trend for 2017?
This Aussie-based wedding gown design team exists for the unique bride. One of their gowns is the most pinned wedding dress on Pinterest, and it's obvious as to why I am immediately drawn to them. Grace Loves Lace wedding dresses are unique and beautiful. They are a little bit vintage, a little bit boho, a little bit modern, and a whole lot of sophistication. The French & European silks and laces are luxurious, and the unique designs are perfect for the bride looking to be a little different while staying classy and stylish.
