As of today, we are officially 25 days away from being able to say, "It's our wedding day!"
The past few months of planning have flown by. They've been a busy few months with a lot of life changes... in addition to planning our wedding.
We're definitely in the home stretch now. Nearly everything is set and ready to go. We have all of our vendors booked, and our RSVPs are due later this week. So all we really have left are the small details of the day - confirming final quantities of meals, bar, all rentals, and creating a seating plan. We've handed most everything over to Upstate I Do, and it felt glorious to direct all communication through them. (HIRE. A. WEDDING. PLANNER.)
We had our tasting with Larkin's on the River and were so happy with all of the results of our menu choices. Our bar package has been finalized, as well.
We're meeting with Uptown Entertainment to finalize all reception music and entertainment soon (my cousin and aunt are beautiful, talented musicians, and will be performing during the ceremony).
Thanks to Jacqueline at Ten Twenty Travel, our room blocks were secured and have now been filled... and our honeymoon is planned!
We've met with our Pastor and his wife and have gone through a few sessions of pre-marital counseling. We really enjoyed this time with them. It was a learning experience for both of us, and one that I believe will strengthen our marriage.
I already had my bridal shower and bachelorette outing. My dress came in and is currently being altered. My bridesmaids and flower girls all have their dresses. Brentley has his suit, and the groomsmen are getting the rest of their attire.
I have gifts for my bridesmaids ready to go. I had my hair and makeup trial with Latia with Cotton Rouge (it was PERFECT).
I still need to pick out my day-of nail polish and perfume. Suggestions are welcomed!
We're excited for all of our friends and family coming together at the end of this month, and we are feeling completely honored and humbled by so many coming from out of town to celebrate with us.
I'll try to give one last wedding update before the big day!
