There are a ton of ideas out there for gifts to give your bridesmaids and groomsmen. So much so that oftentimes it can be a bit overwhelming. I don’t know about you, but I’m one of those people who love reading about gift ideas and gift guides. Those tend to either give the perfect, exact idea for a loved one… or will at least inspire me to get someone something similar. So when it comes to deciding on gifts for your wedding party, my hope is that this guide will help you. Or maybe even inspire you with some holiday gift giving.Read More
The girls who stand next to you on your big day are very important to you, and many brides are now opting to "propose" to their bridesmaids by asking them to be a part of their wedding in a creative way. Some are extravagant, some are simple, but almost all are super thoughtful. So for those of you looking for a little inspiration, I've rounded up some items I would consider putting in a "Will You Be My Bridesmaid?" box for all of my besties.
A Personalized Wine Label: Buy a bottle of wine for each bridesmaid, and then order a personalized wine label. Adhere the wine label to each bottle of wine, and gift away! There are several of them out there for you to choose from, but I love these that I found on Etsy.
Nail Polish: Buy each bridesmaid 1-2 colors of nail polish. You could give them something neutral or pink, or you could also give them colors that will match your wedding. A personal favorite of mine is Essie's Ballet Slippers.
A Cute Card: Again, just like the wine labels, there are ton of these out there, so search what you like most. Personally, I like these:
A Pretty Planner: Whether it's Lilly Pulitzer, Kate Spade, or another planner of your choosing, you could always buy a planner for each bridesmaid and write all of the important wedding dates in them prior to giving them to your girls.
Paint Chips or Fabric Swatches in Your Wedding Colors: Drop by your local hardware store, and grab a few paint chip samples in your wedding colors for each bridesmaid. If you have a little extra money, you could go to your local fabric store, and purchase a few sample fabric swatches in your wedding colors instead. Add your colors to the bridesmaid box to give your girls a little inspiration and more excitement!
- Lip balm
- Breath mints
- Jewelry (Dogeared, Baublebar, and Kendra Scott are great options!)
There you go! Gather all of your gifts (or give one simple item like the wine bottle with personalized label or planner), and arrange them in a wooden box, pretty decorative box, canvas tote, or basket.
