People often wonder what it’s like to work with us and what they can expect if they hire us as their wedding planner. Our customer service is our #1 priority, and we fully believe that if we create an incredible experience for our clients by streamlining, simplifying, and personalizing the entire planning process, we will not only better serve our brides and grooms, but make this an enjoyable time in their lives. We also fully believe that by partnering with a couple and walking alongside them will help ease some of their time so they can focus on building a strong foundation for marriage.

Prior to entering a contract with anyone, we always have a consultation to ensure we are a good fit for each other. Over the years, we have come to realize that most of our brides are similar in their dispositions, values, expectations, and beliefs. While one bride may be a doctor and another bride may be an attorney…while one may be Catholic and another Methodist…while one may prefer to shop at Banana Republic and another at Anthropologie… they all tend to value people and experiences. Which, if you keep reading, you’ll realize is what we value, as well. So once the connection is made and we realize we’re a good fit for each other, we move into planning one of the biggest celebrations and milestones of their lives.

The Bespoken Philosophy

We often get asked what the difference is between us and other planners. The difference lies in the actual experience we provide each of our clients. Our core values (Pursue Excellence, Cultivate Community, Be Graceful, Have Integrity, and Always Learn) guide us in all of our decisions and interactions. We strive to be graceful and gentle, even when troubleshooting. We are a very loyal and personal team of women and pride ourselves on being intentional with our clients. We are a creative bunch, but we don’t necessarily have to strongly follow trends. We are drawn towards the beautiful, romantic, and classic aesthetics that have a soft touch and just a hint of modern trends.

We also don’t want to be seen as, nor referred to, as a wedding factory. We are more than just women holding a clipboard, planning and directing weddings. We don’t want to stretch ourselves too thin or overextend our services to our clients; this ultimately only does a disservice to them and lessens the value we provide. Therefore, we only take on a few weddings per year to ensure the highest level of service and so we can fully provide a high-end and high-touch planning partnership to each of our beloved clients. We rarely (if ever) take on more than one wedding per weekend, and we want to make sure each of our clients feel incredibly valued, loved, and taken care of. We want our clients to feel as though the investment they made in us is worth more than they ever thought possible.

Celebrating milestones and creating experiences that the bride and groom enjoy, that the family finds joyful, and that guests find unforgettable is our priority and focus. Milestones, whether big or small, are worth celebrating, and we are here for it.

More than anything, we believe in people. People are at the heart of everything we do.

The Bespoken Experience

Regardless of which service you hire us for, we want you to have an incredible, joyful planning experience. We have streamlined and simplified the planning process based on our combined 19 years in the wedding industry.

After hiring us, depending on which package you choose, we will begin moving forward through our process. This will look different for everyone, but generally, especially for our Full-Service Planning & Design clients, includes:

  1. Welcome and Get to Know You

  2. Vendor Team Curation

  3. Design

  4. Event Management & Logistics

  5. Event Execution & Production

Each of the above steps has been carefully developed to ensure a solid experience for our clients so all details are covered and so we walk through and plan the event the best way possible.

We check in with our clients on a weekly basis. We give them access to a curated and personal online account where we collaboratively manage all aspects of their wedding. We provide answers and guidance on all etiquette-related questions and provide unlimited support, guidance, and advice throughout the wedding planning process. We are here to guide you, to laugh with you, to be an ear for you to bounce ideas off of, and a brain to pick.
