My love of the ocean is no secret, so when a few amazing local vendors decided they wanted to collaborate on an ocean-inspired shoot, my heart did a few flips. I designed a Mood Board to help capture the feel, look, and mood of the shoot and sent it out to all of the creative partners involved. I'm sharing that Mood Board with you today :)Read More
Kristyn contacted me about planning her wedding a few months ago. Since she lives in Charlotte, we spent some time chatting on the phone about her and Jon, their wedding, and what she is looking for in a wedding planner. They're getting married this winter, and the thought of planning and coordinating a wedding at The Cliffs at Glassy in December sounded like a dream. Kristyn and I had a great conversation, and I've enjoyed helping her with her wedding. I can't wait for their big day; it's going to be beautiful. But for now...I'd like to introduce you to Kristyn :)Read More
I posted a quote this morning on Instagram and Facebook, and it's receiving some attention. Since I'm getting a lot of "Thank you so much" messages from this one, I wanted to go ahead and post it here.
"Admit it: your life hasn't worked out according to your plan. Last month didn't work out according to your plan. Today won't work out according to your plan. All of this is true because you aren't the author of your story. You don't need to read a mystery novel; your life is a mystery to you. You and I don't have a clue what is around the next corner, let alone where we will be and what we will be doing a decade from now. But even though there is very little that we know for sure about our lives and we experience constant surprises along the way, we need not give way to panic. Yes, our lives are out of our control, but that doesn't mean they are out of control. No, our lives are under the careful administration of the One who has the wisdom and power to be the great Author of it all." -Paul David Tripp
I love that reminder.

This weekend not only wraps up 2016, but also the last Bespoken wedding of the year in Raleigh, NC. We've been planning Erin & Matt's wedding since February and have really honed it in on a solid design with an A-Team list of vendors.
One of the services included in the Bespoken Package is assistance and guidance in the design and style of your wedding. Erin wanted to ring in New Year's Eve while celebrating her marriage with the ones she loves most, and so we opted for hints of gold, glitter, and eggplant with an elegant and celebratory mood throughout the evening. The following is the final Design Inspiration Board for her New Year's wedding.
The color palette is one of white, gold, and shades of purple/eggplant.
I'm excited to celebrate Erin & Matt's wedding and ring in the New Year in such a fun way! Here's to you and yours and a very Happy New Year's!
